Nuku Hiva’s 330 square kilometers (127 sq. miles) make it the largest island of this archipelago. It is 1,500 kilometers (932 miles) northeast of Papeete, located at 8°49’ south latitude by 140°12’ west longitude. Its tallest point is Mt. Tokao (1,208 meters, or 3,963 ft.).

Raivavae
Latitude 23°53’ South and Longitude 147°39’ West within the Austral Islands - 730 Km (454 miles) south-southeast from the island of Tahiti. Running from east to west, Raivavae is 8.5 Km (5.3 miles) long by 2.3 Km (1.4 miles) wide and covers an area of 16 square Km (6.18 sq. miles). The highest point is Mt. Hiro, which has an altitude of 437 meters (1,434 ft.).
