Team started from Frankfurt/M. with Air New Zealand via Los Angeles and Papeete

All their baggage (including the full equipment) returned due a airplane trouble.
Date January 2006-15th
The team stays on Nuku Hiva (Marquesas) and still waiting for their baggage, is going well but disappointed. Bought shorts, shirts and toothbrush in Papeete (Tahiti).

The baggage is announced for Wednesday, 18th. Still on Nuku Hiva. If the baggage arrived on Nuku Hiva, boys will go to Ua Pou.

No further (better) news. Still awaiting their baggage on Nuku Hiva. They decided to cancel Ua Pou (Marquesas) to begin Raivavae (OC-114) earlier.

Getting their baggage on Nuku Hiva late. Changed their plans again and they decided now for an activity from Nuku Hiva.

Because of the unfavorable location they do not see a possibility, to work on higher bands!

They are fighting with heavy disturbances because of a strong over horizon radar with signal strength up to 59+20 dB.
One amplifier is a total failure because of transport damage, therefore they work with low power (barefoot) on 40 and 30m. The working PA used on 160 and 80m.

The equipment is transported by air freight to Germany, without the mobile transceivers, which needed in New Zealand.
The team stays for 2 days in Papeete (Tahiti) in order then to fly via Rarotonga (Cook) to Auckland.
I hope, I can make then all log data available, if the team finds an Internet access (Internet-Café) there.
